Reviews, claims and privacy

Reviews

Reviews must describe a personal visit. We moderate submissions for relevance, personal information, abuse and conflicts of interest. Club owners cannot review their own claimed club. Negative reviews are not removed because a club pays for premium.

Names chosen for reviews, ratings, visit dates, comments and approved photos are public on the profile. Booking references are visible only to moderators. A self-reported visit is not marked verified unless an editor records an evidence check.

Owner claims and corrections

Claims are checked manually. Business contact details and ownership evidence are used for that review and are not displayed on public profiles. Corrections and profile edits are reviewed before publication.

Information we store

Sign-in supplies your account identifier, email and optional name. We use the identifier for saved clubs and submissions. Your email is visible to you and may be used to assess a submitted club claim; it is not shown on player reviews. Uploaded photos are stored with the caption, author identifier and moderation status.

Moderation decisions and verification checks are retained in an editorial audit history. Public verification records show only the method, date, checked fields and public note, not internal contacts or notes.

Your contributions

You can withdraw a review, remove your uploaded photos and unsave clubs from your account. Removing a photo takes it out of public view; underlying stored records may remain for moderation history. Upload only photos you own or have permission to publish.

Google Maps content

Where enabled, Google Maps reviews and photos are loaded automatically on matched club pages. Loading this content connects your browser to Google. Google ratings remain separate from Padel Local reviews. Only the matched Google place ID is saved; Google photos and reviews are loaded directly from Google.

Use of Google Maps features is subject to the Google Maps Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

Premium and sponsored listings

Premium profiles receive a Premium badge and priority placement in matching directory results, labeled Sponsored. This is promotional placement, not an independent quality rating. Player reviews and verification checks follow the same rules for every club.

Booking links and billing

We count outbound booking-link requests for club reporting. These counts do not identify visitors and are not completed bookings. Reservations and payment take place on the club’s external website. Premium billing is not enabled in this private pilot.
